Dharma, Inspiration and Einstein's Chart   11/02/2005

When we follow our inspiration amazing things begin to happen in our lives. Inspiration can seen by the dharma houses 1, 5, 9 which are also called 'fire houses' since they correspond to the fire signs Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. Inspiration means to 'breathe life into.' To live inspired is to feel alive, to live with meaning and purpose.

In the Vedic astrology chart of Albert Einstein you'll see a person who is able to combine his career with his inspiration. He has a planetary combination or yoga called a dharma karma raja yoga. It's a combination between the 9th house of dharma and the 10th house of career. He has Gemini rising with Saturn (the 9th lord) in the 10th house. At the same time Jupiter (the 10th lord) is in the 9th house. Jupiter and Saturn exchange signs forming a parivartana yoga and a dharma karma raja yoga at the same time. This is phenomenal for his career and gave him great fame and success.

His 10th house is the intuitive and imaginative sign of Pisces. Einstein's theories and inventions were born of intuition and imagination. He said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge." His inspiration was following his imagination into the mysterious hidden realms. He also said, "The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science."

"The finest emotion of which we are capable is the mystic emotion. Herein lies the germ of all art and all true science. Anyone to whom this feeling is alien, who is no longer capable of wonderment and lives in a state of fear is a dead man. To know that what is impenetrable for us really exists and manifests itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty, whose gross forms alone are intelligible to our poor faculties... this knowledge, this feeling, that is the core of the true religious sentiment. In this sense, and in this sense alone, I rank myself among profoundly religious men." - Albert Einstein (1879-1955)
