The 5th house is generally indicative of three events: in early life - education, in middle age - children, and in old age (in some cases one's entire life) - spiritual practices.

The great Maharishi Parashara stresses the role of the 5th house for education. One need not go into this controversy at the moment. Through illustrations and one's own experience one can understand these problems.
