Calculation of Longetivity

Hi I need help to determine calculation of longetivity for the birth chart below as the individual refered below is suffering from diabetes, cancer and thairoid and many other illnesses and the family has asked me to see if we can get guidance from experts:

Is this person started facing the health issues from 21.4.2009 onwards. The reason being that the native is running Virgo narayana dasa and the lord of the Virgo is Mercury being placed in Meena and in neecha. Hence health issue would crop up. But at the same time Jupiter is aspecting Meena by rasi dristi which would help the native to live

The lagna lord is under the star of Anuradha and the lord of this star is saturn being placed in the 7th house. This is the house of Maraka.

It is conjoined Venus and Mars the lord of the 12th(hospitlization) and 6th(diseases).

Mars signifies bone marrow and when placed with saturn it would destroy the bone marrow leading to terminally ill diseases.

Scorpio is the lagna of the native and its lord is Mars hence it would destroy his health.

In his case the 9th house is the badhaka for the native and the badhakesa is Moon being placed with ketu. Ketu destroys the mind and Moon is the karaka for blood. hence he would also suffer from blood related diseases

For the longevity estimation we need to see the lord of the 1st,8th and 10th house and also subsequent placed of the lord of these houses.

Lagna lord is Mars being placed in quadrant
8th lord is Mecury is in neecha and placed in Meena
10th lord is Sun being placed in the 6th house

if a single planet is placed in a quadrant then short life is indicate
8th lord Mercury even though placed in 5th house is in neecha hence does not have the power to help the native
10th lord is Sun is badly placed in the house of diseases

Short life 0-36
Middle life 36-72
Long life 72-108

Now the 8th lord is placed in the 5th house which results in extention of life span from short to middle which means that the natives life compartment is increased from 36-72 Years

Native is under the Venus Maha dasa and Jupiter antara dasa. From the Maha dasa Jupiter is placed in the 8th house which would indicate that Jupiter would take care of the native during its antara.And it is aspecting the 6th house.

I am just a learner so kindly take the advise of other astrologer who are better learned than me

Dear gurupandit,

In some schools, we use a measure longevity using the "3 Pairs Rule"
Its basically uses 3 pairs of planets ( 1 pair - Lagna lord and 8th lord, 2nd pair Saturn-Moon and 3rd pair Lagna and Hora Lagna)
It further uses the placement of these pairs in Moveable, Fixed, Dual signs and arrives at a consensus.

This measure can be used to arrive at an approximate range in longevity. So we always need to adjust for other indications in the chart.

Verbatim Applying this rule - I'm reaching at a short life. He's already past short life.

Reviewing the chart I see Venus-Mars practically conjoined in deep graha yuddha along with Saturn in the mix in the 7th.
Since the lagna lord is in the 7th - I'm using Dwisaptati Sama dasa in the Rasi chart.
Under this dasa, he's running Venus/Saturn until Jan 2012.
So this period is not very safe.

During Jun 2011 - Aug 2011 he'll be running Venus/Sat/Mars - I specifically find this period very concerning.
